Take the left part of the origami piece and bring it upwards along the vertical center line. Take the bottom point and bring it upwards to the end of the top fold. Take the top point of the paper and bring it down to the center point. This will create an “X” shapes crease on the paper.

If you’re working with card stock I highly recommend a paper trimmer for a clean edge.
